Questions answered

Maternal yoga FAQs

Is yoga safe during pregnancy? +
Yes — prenatal yoga is one of the safest and most beneficial forms of exercise during pregnancy when practised with a certified trainer. Our trainers are experienced in adapting sessions for each trimester and will never ask you to do anything that isn't safe for you and your baby.
When can I start prenatal yoga? +
You can begin prenatal yoga from the first trimester, though many doctors recommend waiting until after 12 weeks. We welcome mothers at any stage of pregnancy. If you have any medical conditions or your doctor has advised caution, let us know and we'll adapt accordingly.
When can I start postnatal yoga after giving birth? +
Generally from 6 weeks after a natural birth, or 8–12 weeks after a C-section — but always follow your doctor's advice. We start very gently with breathing and light movement and progress at your body's pace.
Do you offer home visits for prenatal yoga? +
Yes — home visits are available across Kondhwa, Hadapsar, Viman Nagar, Wanowrie and nearby areas. This is especially popular in the third trimester when travelling to the studio becomes less comfortable.
I've never done yoga before — can I start during pregnancy? +
Absolutely — many of our prenatal yoga students start with no prior experience. Our trainers begin from the very basics and build a practice that suits your body, your pregnancy stage and your comfort level.
